It all started off with a visit to Amsterdam in 1993. Overwhelmed by the huge amount of graffiti in the Dutch capital, Stefan became obsessed by this form of art.

After graduating from the Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam in 2000, he began exploring beyond graffiti.

"I love adding something to the public domain", he explains.

'Super A' (Stefan) is an accomplished painter. By mixing painting and object design, he creates a world of his own. In that world there's a central figure: a superhero with an ass for a face called Super A. This character, wearing a red cape, red shoes and a blue spandex outfit is obviously Stefan's alter-ego.

Super A's world is very much a world in the making and Stefan may be the storyteller.
